LT Trucking began like most trucking companies, a one-truck operation, a one-man team, someone who wanted to provide for their family. Something about LT's start isn't as common though. I had the image of driving a truck in my mind since I was about 10 years old. I grew up in a city where trucks were everywhere, masked to most eyes in traffic or as part of the background of everyday life. I saw more than a transport vehicle; I saw something I was sure I'd enjoy doing.
After some years of being a one-man team, we have grown with several trucks and of course a great team that has contributed with the growth of our family business. We have learned a lot and have made many changes that have helped achieve our growth in an industry that is very competitive. One of the many things our team takes pride in is communication as we understand that having to track down freight can be one of the most frustrating things in this industry.
